Terms of Use
How to read what is published here, and what is agreed separately in writing. Last updated 8 September 2026.
01These terms
These terms govern your use of this website. They are not the contract for any work we carry out — that is agreed separately in writing, and where the two differ, the signed agreement for the work governs.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Questions go to caswellaviation@shaw.ca.
02Information on this site
Service descriptions, capability pages and case studies describe work we do and results we have achieved on particular sites under particular conditions. They are published in good faith and kept current, but they describe past work rather than promise a specific outcome on yours. Nothing on this site is professional, engineering, legal or regulatory advice.
03Quotes and pricing
Prices shown, including any marked "from", indicate a typical starting point. They are an invitation to discuss, not an offer capable of acceptance. A binding price for your project is the one we put in writing after we understand the site, the airspace, the deliverables and the timing.
04Flight operations
All flying is carried out under the Canadian Aviation Regulations and the Transport Canada Remotely Piloted Aircraft System rules in force at the time, by certificated crew, with the authorisations each operation requires.
Flight is weather- and airspace-dependent. Scheduled work may be postponed for wind, precipitation, visibility, airspace restrictions, wildfire or emergency activity, or any condition the pilot in command judges unsafe. That judgement is not negotiable, and a decision not to fly is never a breach of these terms.
05Training and flight reviews
Training and flight reviews prepare candidates for Transport Canada requirements. Completing a course or a review with us is not itself a certificate, and we do not guarantee any examination result. Certification is granted by Transport Canada on its own criteria.
06Enquiries you send us
Send us what is needed to answer your question. Do not send confidential, privileged or security-sensitive material through the contact form; we will tell you a suitable route for it. What you send is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
07Intellectual property
The text, photography, imagery, diagrams and design of this site belong to Caswell Aviation Ltd or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own reference. You may not republish, resell or use them commercially, or present our imagery as your own work, without written permission.
Rights in deliverables produced for a client — imagery, maps, models and reports — are set out in the agreement for that work, not here.
08Availability and links
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw content at any time. Where we link to another organisation, we are not responsible for what is on their site.
09Liability
To the extent the law allows, Caswell Aviation Ltd is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the content of this website. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Liability for work we perform is governed by the agreement for that work.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11Changes
We may revise these terms. The version on this page, dated 8 September 2026, is the one in force.
